SoSafe Terms and Conditions for Users


Accepting Terms and Conditions

Check-in with SoSafe by Traction Health constitutes acceptance and approval of the terms and conditions of the SoSafe service in its entirety.  

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the SoSafe service by Traction Health ("us", "we", or "our").  

Access to and use of the Service is contingent upon your acceptance of and compliance with these terms. These terms apply to all visitors, users

and others who wish to access or use the service.

By accessing or using the SoSafe service, you agree to be bound by these terms.  If you disagree or dispute these terms, you are not permitted to use or otherwise access the SoSafe service. 

Information SoSafe Collects 

SoSafe collects your phone number, first name, and time of check in. Our system also logs your checkout time to aid with contact notification. If the establishment uses the SoSafe suite for Customer Relationship software services, the SoSafe program will also collect your table location and relevant actions including contacting the manager, asking for service or your bill.  

SoSafe does not collect payment details from patrons of businesses.  

Information collected is securely stored for 30 days based on the regulatory requirements of your jurisdiction. Currently the data is stored for 30 days to comply with regulation, and aid in the notification of contact.  

Your data is automatically deleted after 30 days, and you will be notified of this deletion. 

SoSafe does not track your movements outside of any establishment you check into, between establishments or locations while using the service.  

Each SoSafe installation is independent and specific to that location or establishment.  

Why we collect data 

Check-in data is collected to aid in the protection of patrons and staff of the establishments we serve. Your exit from the establishment or location is also logged for notification purposes. In the event of exposure to an infectious virus, you will be notified only if you were present during the same period and in proximity of an infected individual.   

This data may also be used to enhance your experience by allowing you greater flexibility to request and pay your bill, request service or request a manager. In addition, your number, through the SMS system, may be used to notify you of items you may have left in the establishment or an inadvertent unpaid bill and to request feedback.  

Data Retention 

All your data is automatically deleted after 30 days, or in accordance with regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction.  

Sharing Your Information 

Your information is stored securely but is accessible to the business you are visiting. The primary purpose of the data is for the safety of patrons and employees. SoSafe does not share your information with outside entities or individuals outside of the business, except for complying with local health or other relevant authorities at their request.  


SoSafe will communicate with you at check-in and will provide a conduit for you to interact with the establishment. This may include check-in, access to the menu, requesting a bill, service or a manager. It may also include interaction to or from the establishment in the event of a forgotten item and feedback. You will also receive communication if exposed to an infected person.
